Hisúmer expands premium whisky portfolio with new releases from Torabhaig, AnCnoc, and Lochlea

Hisúmer, a leading distributor of premium spirits, has expanded its portfolio with the addition of whiskies from Torabhaig, AnCnoc, and Lochlea. The company announced the new offerings this week, aiming to strengthen its position in the high-end whisky market and provide more variety to enthusiasts and professionals.

Torabhaig Distillery, located on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, is known for its distinctive peated single malts. The latest release, Sound of Sleat, is the fourth chapter in the distillery’s Legacy series. Named after the narrow stretch of sea that separates Skye from the mainland—called Linne Shlèite in Gaelic—the whisky is bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration. It matures in a mix of new American oak and ex-bourbon casks. The label features artwork by local artist Ellis O’Connor, inspired by the surrounding seascape. Sound of Sleat offers a maritime character with gentle smoke, honey, and vanilla notes, reflecting Torabhaig’s signature style.

AnCnoc comes from Knockdhu Distillery, established in 1894 and one of the smallest distilleries in the Highlands. Located near Knock Hill in Aberdeenshire, AnCnoc means “hill” in Gaelic. The distillery is recognized for its traditional methods and community-driven approach. Hisúmer now offers a 16-year-old AnCnoc matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. This expression delivers a long-lasting vanilla finish and highlights the craftsmanship of Knockdhu’s team.

From the Lowlands, Lochlea Distillery introduces three new limited editions that complete its seasonal range. Each whisky represents a different stage in the agricultural cycle of barley grown on the estate. The Sowing (spring) is aged in first-fill bourbon casks; Harvest (summer) uses a higher proportion of Ruby and Tawny Port casks reinforced with STR (shaved, toasted, re-charred) barrels; The Fallow (autumn) matures solely in Oloroso sherry casks; and The Ploughing (winter) is finished in ex-Laphroaig barrels for a pronounced peaty profile. In addition to these seasonal releases, Lochlea presents Cask Strength Batch and Cask Strength Batch 3.

Lochlea also unveils Lochlea 6, its second age-statement whisky. This limited edition has been aged for six years in a carefully selected combination of casks to achieve complexity and balance while maintaining Lochlea’s vibrant and fruity house style.

The arrival of these whiskies marks an important step for Hisúmer as it continues to diversify its catalog with unique expressions from respected Scottish distilleries. The new additions are now available through Hisúmer’s distribution network to bars, restaurants, specialty retailers, and collectors.
