Hennessy Paradis has teamed up with the fashion brand LOEWE for a unique collaboration. This marks the first time Hennessy Paradis has partnered with a fashion house. The collaboration blends the craftsmanship and cultural heritage of both brands. Together, they have created a limited edition piece inspired by the shell of a chestnut. This collaboration highlights their shared appreciation for intricate artisanal processes, resulting in a bold and modern creation designed to engage the senses with a hint of irony.
LOEWE, established in 1846 as a leather workshop, has honed its craftsmanship over the years, drawing inspiration from fashion, art, and culture. In their Spanish workshops, skilled leather artisans have spent over 10 hours crafting the leather casing for Hennessy Paradis. This exclusive 'nest,' inspired by the chestnut shell, not only protects the bottle but also pays tribute to the traditional chestnut wood circles used to safeguard Hennessy's most treasured barrels. It also reflects the distinctive color of LOEWE's iconic leather accessories.
Hennessy, since 1765, has mastered the art of cognac production. Their expertise in selecting, aging, and blending eaux-de-vie is a legacy that allows the Maison to create exceptional cognacs from grapes grown exclusively in a specific region of France. Hennessy Paradis is named after the Paradis cellar of the Maison, where their most prized eaux-de-vie have been aged for generations. The blend was crafted by Hennessy's sixth-generation cellar master, Maurice Fillioux. He likened it to a symphony orchestra, a combination of about a hundred eaux-de-vie chosen for their individual qualities to create a harmonious cognac with coppery tones and a voluptuous, silky texture.
Laurent Boillot, a representative of the collaboration, expressed excitement about the partnership with LOEWE.
