BERO, a premium non-alcoholic beer brand founded in 2024 by actor Tom Holland and beverage industry veteran John Herman, is using Oracle NetSuite’s business management suite to support its rapid growth and international expansion. The company, which began operations in both the United States and the United Kingdom, has quickly established a presence in major retailers such as Target, Amazon, Sprouts, and Total Wine. BERO currently brews four varieties of non-alcoholic beer and also sells directly to consumers online.
From its inception, BERO implemented NetSuite’s cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to manage the complexities of scaling a beverage business across multiple markets. The decision to adopt NetSuite early was guided by Neha Soi, BERO’s Senior Vice President of Operations. According to John Herman, co-founder and CEO, the company needed a flexible system that could adapt as the business grew and provide real-time insights into financial and operational performance.
NetSuite’s AI-powered platform has allowed BERO to automate key business processes, including financial reporting, order fulfillment, and supply chain management. By integrating these functions, BERO has improved productivity and increased the speed and accuracy of its reporting. For example, NetSuite connects sales data with transportation management and order fulfillment workflows, expediting order processing. As orders are approved, the system automates financial and inventory reporting, ensuring data accuracy and providing up-to-date information for decision-making.
The efficiencies gained from using NetSuite have had a measurable impact on BERO’s operations. The company reports that it has reduced its monthly financial close process from up to 15 days down to just 3-5 days. Sales order processing time has also been cut to less than fifteen minutes per order. These improvements have enabled BERO to focus more resources on strategic growth initiatives rather than administrative tasks.
To support its international ambitions, BERO uses NetSuite OneWorld to integrate new subsidiaries and manage transactions in multiple currencies. This capability is essential as the company continues to expand its distribution network beyond the US and UK.
Evan Goldberg, founder and executive vice president of Oracle NetSuite, noted that the non-alcoholic beverage sector is growing rapidly and becoming more competitive. He said that BERO recognized early on the need for a strong technology foundation to scale effectively and respond quickly to market demands.
BERO worked with NetSuite Solution Provider Luxent on its ERP implementation. The company’s approach reflects a broader trend among beverage brands seeking digital solutions to streamline operations as they grow internationally.
Oracle NetSuite has provided cloud-based business management solutions for over 25 years and serves more than 43,000 customers in 220 countries and territories. Its integrated suite includes financial management, supply chain tools, customer experience features, and HR capabilities.
BERO positions itself as a premium option in the non-alcoholic beer market, emphasizing quality ingredients and taste for consumers seeking balance without sacrificing enjoyment. The brand’s founders say their goal is to offer beverages that fit into an active lifestyle while maintaining high standards for flavor and experience.
