The launch was officially presented during the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November 2024, marking a new chapter for both brands.

Each bottle in this exclusive release features the names of Aston Martin drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll. The packaging is designed to pay tribute to these two athletes, making it a collector’s item for motorsport fans and whisky enthusiasts alike. Glenfiddich’s master blender, Brian Kinsman, oversaw the creation of this edition, continuing a tradition that dates back to 1887. The Glenfiddich 16-year-old limited edition is crafted from a blend of American oak casks previously used for wine, new American oak barrels, and second-fill bourbon casks. This combination results in a whisky with a distinctive character. On the nose, it offers aromas reminiscent of cheesecake base, maple syrup, caramelized ginger, and subtle toasted oak. The palate is described as silky and sweet, with flavors of fresh fruit and Chantilly cream.

The limited-edition Glenfiddich 16 is priced at approximately $90 per bottle. Each package prominently displays the names of Fernando Alonso, a two-time Formula One World Champion from Spain, and Lance Stroll, his Canadian teammate.
