Sicilia Outlet Village pairs Sicilian sparkling wines with 70% fashion discounts on Oct. 11

Sicilia Outlet Village in Enna will host two events on Sunday, Oct. 11, combining a wine program focused on Sicilian sparkling wines with a retail promotion day across participating fashion brands, according to organizers.

The outlet center said the schedule will bring together the final date of its 2026 “Calici al Village” series and the first edition of “Fashion Day.” The events are set to take place in the same venue and are aimed at shoppers and visitors looking for food, music and discounted merchandise during a full day at the complex.

Organizers said the wine event will start at 4 p.m. and will close the second edition of “Calici al Village,” a program that in recent weeks featured white and red wines. The final session will shift the focus to sparkling wines produced in Sicily. The initiative is being organized in collaboration with WineSicily.

According to the event announcement, visitors will be able to meet wineries and producers, learn about wine-growing areas and grape varieties, and sample different styles of Sicilian sparkling wine. The program will include free tastings, a wine glass for participants and a DJ set.

The wineries announced for the Oct. 11 edition are Azzolino, Azienda di Rachele, Casa Grazia, Cellaro, Costantino Wines, Duca di Salaparuta, Giovinco, Milazzo, Nino Gandolfo, Tenute 50, Tenute dello Jato, Tenute Valso and Turi Eccellenze dell’Etna. Organizers did not release further details on the number of labels to be poured or whether reservations would be required for the tastings.

The shopping promotion will run throughout the day as part of the first “Fashion Day.” Sicilia Outlet Village said participating brands will each offer a selection of three items at a 70% discount. A digital catalog with the products and participating stores has been made available on the outlet’s official website.

The event reflects an approach that many outlet centers in Italy have adopted in recent years, pairing retail campaigns with food, wine and entertainment programming to extend visitor stays and attract a broader public. In this case, organizers are linking a wine-focused Sunday event, already in its second year, with a new fashion promotion intended to draw attention to both the commercial and leisure sides of the site.

Sicilia Outlet Village is located in the province of Enna, in central Sicily, and serves as a retail destination for shoppers from several parts of the island. The Oct. 11 program is expected to unfold across the village during regular visitor hours, with the wine activities beginning later in the afternoon while the shopping promotions remain active during the day.

The event was announced in a statement distributed by I Press, the communications office handling media relations for the outlet center. Organizers described the day as an opportunity for visitors to move between stores, stop for wine tastings and spend time at the venue while music plays in the background.

No ticket price was listed in the announcement for the wine initiative, which organizers described as offering free tastings. The statement also did not specify whether there would be limits on the number of samples per person or whether age checks would be carried out at tasting stations, though wine events in Italy typically require legal drinking age compliance.

The pairing of sparkling wine with music and outlet shopping also comes at a time when many businesses in the food and retail sectors are trying to use event-based programming to stimulate foot traffic during weekends. By placing the final “Calici al Village” date and the launch of “Fashion Day” on the same Sunday, Sicilia Outlet Village appears to be aiming for a broader draw than either event might generate on its own.
