2. What these terms cover
These terms explain the rules for browsing, participating in and purchasing services from Vinetur. Reading public content is free. Creating an account does not mean ordering advertising or taking out a paid subscription.
Registration and each purchased service have their own acceptance process. Browsing the website does not mean accepting an advertising contract or consenting to a newsletter, all cookies or any and all processing of personal data. The privacy policy and cookie policy explain those activities separately.
The specific terms of an order set out its deliverables, price and duration. They must be provided before purchase and cannot reduce mandatory legal rights. Updating this page does not retrospectively change accepted orders, earlier publishing permissions or acquired rights.
3. User accounts and public profiles
To register, you must provide accurate information and an email address you control. Registration requires verification of that address. Keep your details up to date and protect your password. If you notice unauthorized access, tell us so we can act. Liability for an incident is determined by law, not simply by the fact that a password was used.
Your name or identifier, image, description, website and publications form part of your public profile as described in the privacy policy. Do not put information you wish to keep private in those spaces. Your registration email address is not displayed as a profile field unless you publish it yourself within a text.
You can submit articles and manage your contributions from your account. Publication is subject to moderation. Work received and published by Vinetur as an editorial commission is managed under the agreement with its author: it may appear on the author’s profile without being editable or removable through their personal dashboard. These different permissions do not affect statutory copyright, correction or data protection rights.
Do not impersonate others or create accounts to bypass a suspension. You must have sufficient authority to enter into a contract on behalf of a business. Minors need the legal capacity or representation required for each action; reaching the age of consent for data protection purposes does not, by itself, authorize them to enter into any contract.
4. Publications and participation rules
Only submit text, images and other materials you have the rights or sufficient permission to use. Respect other people’s image rights, privacy and personal data. Do not publish private or confidential information, or information about minors, without a lawful basis for doing so.
Unlawful content, threats, harassment, incitement to violence or hatred, discrimination, impersonation, fraud, malicious software and spam are not permitted. Participation tools must not be used to collect personal data or send unsolicited commercial messages. Opinions must be expressed without personal attacks or factual allegations that infringe others’ rights.
Moderation considers legality, third-party rights, editorial relevance and compliance with these rules. A contribution may be rejected, require corrections or be removed; serious or repeated breaches may lead to account restrictions. Measures must be proportionate. If a decision affects your contributions or account, you can ask for the reasons and request a review at [email protected]. Relevant information will be provided unless a legal obligation prevents its disclosure.
Contributions express their authors’ views, which are not necessarily those of Vinetur. This does not exclude any liability that the law places on the author, publisher or service provider.
5. Rights in contributions
You retain the rights that belong to you. For contributions for which you have accepted these terms, you give VGSC, S.L. non-exclusive permission to reproduce them, make them publicly available and carry out the technical adaptations needed to display them on Vinetur and its editions. This permission includes distribution connected with that publication through Vinetur’s newsletter and official channels, and translation into the languages of its editions, while respecting authorship and the integrity of the work.
Because the internet is global, this permission applies worldwide and lasts while the contribution remains published or accessibly archived on Vinetur. It does not cover selling the work separately, a general transfer to third parties or uses unrelated to those purposes. Unsolicited contributions do not, in themselves, create an obligation to pay; commissioned work and paid contributions are governed by their specific agreements.
You can remove contributions that are manageable from your dashboard, or ask us to review their continued publication using the contact details above. Removal cannot recall emails already delivered or control copies made by third parties. These technical limits do not remove Vinetur’s legal obligations. Moral rights and rights under data protection law remain unaffected.
The site’s editorial content, design, software, trademarks and other elements belong to VGSC, S.L. or are used with the appropriate rights. Access does not grant general permission for commercial reuse. Quotations, links and other uses allowed by law are respected. Please write to us about any use requiring permission.
6. Newsletter
The newsletter is voluntary and separate from a user account. When registering, you can request it through a separate option that is unchecked by default; selecting it is not required to create or use your account. You can also subscribe through the website’s newsletter option. Your chosen edition determines the newsletter language.
Emails contain Vinetur information and may include advertising placements sold by Vinetur. Vinetur manages the mailing. Subscribing does not, by itself, authorize advertisers to send you their own emails or give them your address.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the email’s unsubscribe link or your account’s newsletter settings, without closing your account. You can also request help at [email protected]. Messages needed to verify an account, restore access or manage a requested service are separate from the newsletter.
7. Advertising, sponsored content and TextAds
Vinetur offers display advertising, sponsored content and text ads. Each service page and the accepted proposal describe its features. Buying a campaign does not buy influence over other editorial content. Advertising and sponsorship must be identified as such when presented to the public.
Before purchase, the relevant formats, materials, editions, placements or publishing criteria, dates, duration, price, taxes, payment method and reporting services must be specified, depending on the service. Accepting the order or completing the purchase process confirms those terms; an enquiry alone is not an order. You can request a copy and correct your details before confirming.
Advertisers must provide lawful information and materials and hold the necessary rights. Vinetur’s review may lead to requests for changes or rejection of material incompatible with the law or terms communicated before purchase. This rule does not allow us to retain money without justification for a service that is not provided, nor does it transfer Vinetur’s statutory responsibilities to the client.
Brand advertising focuses on visibility and recognition; TextAds provides access through links. None of these services guarantees a number of sales, leads, bookings or search rankings, except for an expressly agreed specific deliverable that can be guaranteed. Impressions, clicks and other metrics mean different things; the contracted reach and measurement criteria must be included in the proposal. Adserver data and reports describe recorded delivery, not a promise of commercial return.
Sponsored content is prepared and published within the scope and approval process set out in the order. Commitments on continued availability or links remain subject to applicable legal duties; they cannot guarantee future decisions by search engines or external platforms. Accepted commissions are not subject to unilateral changes in their terms.
TextAds is purchased at a monthly fee per ad, with a minimum term of three months and payment by bank direct debit under the mandate and accepted terms. The current rate is shown on the service page; applicable taxes and the total payable must be specified before confirmation. Cancellation and its effect on the current period are governed by the contract and the client’s legal rights. A direct debit mandate does not waive applicable refund rights, and a bank refund does not, by itself, extinguish a valid debt.
Invoicing, due dates, changes and cancellation are governed by the accepted order and the law. A breach may entitle the affected party to correction, repeat performance, a price reduction, termination or a refund, as appropriate. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.
8. If you purchase as a consumer
Consumer protection applies if you meet the legal definition of a consumer, even when buying advertising. Before entering into a distance contract, you must receive clear information about the service, the provider’s identity and contact details, the total price including taxes, duration, payment, termination and any applicable right of withdrawal. You must also receive confirmation in a form you can keep.
As a general rule, you can withdraw from a distance contract for services within fourteen calendar days of entering into it, without giving a reason. If you expressly request that work begin during that period and then withdraw, only the legally applicable proportionate amount may be charged. Losing the right after full performance requires the statutory conditions to be met, including prior express consent and acknowledgment of that consequence. A campaign’s bespoke nature does not automatically remove the right to withdraw from a service contract.
To withdraw, send an unambiguous statement to [email protected] or to VGSC, S.L., calle Castelao 17, 1B, 36600 Vilagarcía de Arousa, Spain. You may, but do not have to, use this wording: ‘I hereby withdraw from the contract for [identify the service], entered into on [date]. Consumer’s name, address, date and signature if submitted on paper.’ Refunds will be made under the statutory conditions and deadlines, ordinarily within fourteen days of notification.
Use the same channels to make a complaint. It will be handled within the applicable statutory deadline. If no solution is reached, you may contact consumer bodies, use the relevant alternative dispute resolution procedures or apply to the competent courts. These terms do not claim that Vinetur belongs to any particular arbitration scheme.
9. Content notices and corrections
If you believe content is unlawful or infringes rights, write to [email protected] or use Contact. Give the exact URL, the facts and reasons for your request, relevant supporting documents and a way to reply. If acting for someone else, explain your authority. Do not send other people’s personal data unless needed to assess the case.
Requests are assessed in light of the affected individuals’ rights, freedom of expression and information, and applicable law. Disagreement with an opinion does not automatically mean it must be removed. You can ask us to reconsider a decision by providing relevant information.
The right to seek correction of factual information that refers to you and that you consider inaccurate and harmful is governed by Spain’s Organic Law 2/1984. It has specific requirements and deadlines; this contact channel neither replaces nor limits them. Requests concerning personal data are handled under the privacy policy.
10. Website operation, links and AI tools
Maintenance, incidents or external circumstances may affect the website. Vinetur must exercise the required care in providing its services and addressing reported problems. It does not guarantee a complete absence of errors or interruptions, but does not exclude liability where the law imposes it.
External links lead to services managed by their respective operators. Those services have their own terms, without prejudice to Vinetur’s duties regarding the links or content it publishes.
Vinetur uses artificial intelligence tools in its processes. Their use does not remove editorial responsibilities, copyright obligations or any duty to identify content where the law requires it. Informational content is not a substitute for the individualized professional advice a reader may need.
11. Applicable law and changes
Spanish law and applicable European Union rules govern these terms, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections applicable to their circumstances. Disputes will be heard by the bodies with jurisdiction under the law; no general waiver of legally protected jurisdictions is imposed.
Material changes to services or data processing must be communicated appropriately, with fresh acceptance or consent where required. If a clause is invalid, the relevant legal rule will apply without necessarily invalidating the remaining terms.
