Chilean creative agency celebrates twenty years with limited-edition wine-inspired perfume

In March 2025, DAf Agency, a creative firm based in Santiago, Chile, marked its twentieth anniversary with an unusual project: the launch of a perfume inspired by wine. Known for its work with wine and spirits brands, DAf collaborated with local perfumer Paloma Espinoza from Perfumería Botánica to develop this fragrance. The project aimed to capture the complexity and character of wine in a scent, reflecting the agency’s two decades of experience in the industry.

The process began with an exploration of different aromatic profiles found in wine. The team focused on woody notes as a tribute to the barrels used in winemaking. They then layered in fruit aromas, vanilla, fig, and cinnamon, among other natural ingredients. In total, the perfume contains twenty distinct elements, each representing a year in DAf’s history.

The design of the bottle also pays homage to winemaking traditions. The cap is crafted from staves of an actual wine barrel, reinforcing the connection between the fragrance and its inspiration. During DAf’s anniversary celebration in March, guests were invited to personalize their perfume by choosing one of three additional accords: citrus, floral, or a sweet gourmand note. This interactive element allowed attendees to tailor the base scent to their own preferences.

Due to the high concentration of natural ingredients required for production, only a limited number of bottles were made. This exclusivity was intentional, ensuring that the fragrance remained a unique marker of DAf’s milestone.

DAf has built its reputation over twenty years by providing creative services tailored to wine and spirits brands. The agency is known for campaigns such as Wines of Chile’s global promotion and has become recognized for its specialized approach within this sector.
