Bollinger unveils PN TX20 champagne and limited picnic basket for summer outdoor celebrations

Bollinger has announced the release of its new cuvée, PN TX20, a champagne made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced mainly from the Premier Cru vineyards of Tauxières. This launch marks the sixth edition in Bollinger’s PN collection, which began in 2015 to explore the different expressions of Pinot Noir according to terroir. The PN TX20 is based on the 2020 harvest and aims to showcase a refined, contemporary style that remains deeply connected to its origins.

To celebrate this release and the arrival of summer, Bollinger has partnered with renowned florist Sally L. Hambleton. Together, they have created a limited-edition picnic basket designed to elevate outdoor gatherings. The collaboration is timed with International Picnic Day on June 18, but the experience is intended to go beyond a single date, encouraging people to enjoy champagne in natural settings throughout the season.

The limited-edition picnic basket includes a bottle of PN TX20, two fine crystal champagne glasses, a handmade wicker basket, a vase with fresh seasonal flowers, cotton placemats for use on grass, and a selection of strawberries and croissants. Each element has been chosen to enhance the enjoyment of champagne outdoors, combining elegance with simplicity.

PN TX20 stands out for its vibrant freshness and complex character. In appearance, it shows a bright golden yellow color with golden highlights. On the nose, it offers fresh aromas of citrus and white fruits such as peach and quince, complemented by subtle mineral notes reminiscent of flint. On the palate, it delivers flavors of currant and balanced acidity, with a broad and vinous texture that lingers with hints of fruit compote. The result is a champagne that is both elegant and persistent.
