Wine Paris 2025 has reinforced its position as the leading global event for wine and spirits after three days of activity that saw record attendance. A total of 52,622 visitors attended the fair, with 45% coming from 154 countries. Despite geopolitical and economic uncertainty, marked by political instability, declining consumption, and environmental challenges, the event reaffirmed its role as a key meeting place for the industry, fostering networking, business opportunities, and discussions about the sector's future.

Since its inception, Wine Paris has evolved into an influential platform both economically and politically. This edition was inaugurated in the presence of three French ministers: the Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, the Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade, and the Minister Delegate for Tourism. Former ministers, members of parliament, senators, and more than 30 foreign delegations, including ambassadors and ministers of state, were also in attendance.

The event gathered key industry players for highly specialized conferences and presentations. The French Federation of Wine and Spirits Exporters (FEVS) shared the 2024 export results, while the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) analyzed global wine trade trends. Moët Hennessy discussed policies for agroecological transition and vineyard regeneration, while the Wine Origins Alliance addressed the removal of trade barriers. The Academy program featured 250 international experts across 130 sessions, and Vinexposium launched Voice of the Industry, a platform for analyzing major sector challenges.

Wine Paris' international scope was evident in the 80% expansion of exhibition space for foreign participants compared to 2024, filling three dedicated pavilions. In total, 54 exhibiting countries, 116 international pavilions—including eight new ones—were present. Buyers from key markets increased by 35%, and connections between producers and buyers doubled through a networking platform. Rebecca Ohayon, a buyer for Majestic Wine in the UK, highlighted the event's growth and Paris' relevance as a global meeting point.

French participation also increased by 7%, with representatives from all the country's wine regions, including independent winemakers, cooperatives, merchants, and major brands.

The Be Spirits section, dedicated to spirits, expanded with exhibitors from 34 producer countries, a 47% increase in exhibition space, and nearly 300 exhibitors, 76% of whom were first-time participants. International participation more than doubled compared to 2024, with 10 new exhibiting countries joining.

Vinexposium CEO Rodolphe Lameyse emphasized the event's significance amid a complex economic landscape, stressing the need for cooperation, innovation, and stronger ties between economic and political players. Vinexposium's 2025 calendar includes events in the Americas, Asia, and India, with fairs scheduled in Miami, Singapore, Mumbai, and Amsterdam, further strengthening its role in the industry's global expansion.
