Hammeken Cellars has announced the release of Avent Blanc de Blancs Brut, a new sparkling wine produced using the Charmat method. The launch comes as the summer season begins, aiming to offer consumers a fresh and modern option for warm-weather celebrations. The wine is crafted in Requena, Spain, an area known for its continental climate with Mediterranean influences. The grapes used in Avent come from bush vines that are over 20 years old, contributing to the wine’s character and complexity.
Avent Blanc de Blancs Brut is made from a blend of Viura and Moscatel grapes. The Charmat method, which involves secondary fermentation in stainless steel tanks, is used to create its fine and persistent bubbles. The wine presents a pale straw yellow color with bright clarity. Aromas include citrus, white flowers, and subtle notes of peach and apricot. On the palate, Avent is described as crisp and well-balanced, with an elegantly effervescent texture and a clean, refreshing finish.
The alcohol content is 11%, making it a lighter option suitable for daytime gatherings or as an aperitif. Hammeken Cellars has positioned Avent as a contemporary sparkling wine designed to appeal to today’s consumers who seek both style and substance in their beverage choices. The winery emphasizes that Avent is intended to elevate summer moments with its lightness and personality.
The release of Avent Blanc de Blancs Brut reflects ongoing trends in the sparkling wine market, where consumers are increasingly interested in approachable yet sophisticated options. By focusing on freshness, vibrancy, and modern presentation, Hammeken Cellars aims to capture attention in both domestic and international markets during the peak season for sparkling wine consumption. The wine is now available through select retailers and distributors.
