Syrah du Monde 2025 to Showcase Wines from 26 Countries in France

The 19th edition of Syrah du Monde will take place in Ampuis, France, on May 15 and 16, 2025. This international event will gather experts and producers to celebrate one of the world's most renowned grape varieties. This year, the event will feature 450 wine samples from 26 countries, marking an unprecedented geographical representation. The aim is to evaluate wines made entirely or partially with Syrah grapes, following the event's guidelines, and to promote knowledge of this variety, which is deeply rooted in regions like the northern Rhône, Australia, South Africa, Chile, and California. A jury of 100 professional tasters, selected for their expertise and from various countries, will assess the wines using the event's tasting system, which emphasizes technical rigor and sample anonymity. The sessions will be held at Château d’Ampuis, a historic building in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie appellation, one of France's oldest.
