Fête du Champagne et Vins is offering a 40% early-bird discount for its spring festival in Amsterdam, with tickets priced at €16.50 instead of €25 for a limited time as organizers try to drive sales ahead of the event’s opening during the Pentecost weekend.
The festival will run from May 21 to May 25 in Rembrandtpark, where visitors will be able to taste more than 100 champagnes and wines, attend master classes, hear live music and sample French food, according to the organizers. The event is being promoted as a French-style celebration in the park, with the promise of a festive atmosphere and tastings led by experts from well-known champagne houses.
Organizers said the early-bird offer will end in 5 days. They are also including an official Fête glass with each ticket purchased under the promotion, intended for use at home after the event.
The festival’s programming includes sessions on the difference between Brut and Demi-Sec styles and tastings of selected cuvées. A video from last year’s edition is being used in the campaign as part of the push to attract visitors before the discount expires.
The Amsterdam event comes as spring and early summer festivals begin to fill calendars across the Netherlands, with food and drink events competing for attention during a busy holiday period. The organizers are encouraging groups of friends to attend over the 5-day run, which overlaps with Pentecost celebrations and is meant to evoke a French holiday setting in one of the city’s largest parks.
