SITEVI 2025 Draws Over 55,000 Professionals as International Participation Surges in Montpellier

The international trade show SITEVI opens its doors tomorrow at the Parc des Expositions in Montpellier, France. Running from November 25 to 27, 2025, this 32nd edition brings together professionals from the wine, olive, and fruit sectors. Organizers expect a strong turnout, with more than 55,000 professional registrations and exhibitors from 20 countries, marking a notable increase in international participation.

SITEVI has become a key event for those involved in viticulture, olive growing, and arboriculture. This year’s main theme is diversification, which is seen as essential for the future of the wine industry. Producers are looking for ways to build resilience against climate change and market shifts by expanding their operations and adopting new practices. The show aims to highlight concrete solutions and innovations that can help these sectors adapt and thrive.

Throughout the three days, attendees will have access to a packed schedule of workshops, conferences, and demonstrations. More than 60 expert-led sessions will address pressing issues such as climate adaptation, water management, carbon footprint reduction, sustainable viticulture, and workplace quality of life. These sessions are organized in collaboration with leading French institutions like the French Institute of Vine and Wine (IFV), the Union of French Oenologists, France Olive, and the Technical Center for Fruits and Vegetables (CTIFL).

A major highlight of SITEVI is the Innovation Awards ceremony. These awards recognize significant technical advances in equipment and knowledge across the wine, olive oil, and fruit sectors. The winners will be announced during a dedicated ceremony at the event.

New technologies are also in focus this year. The LAB TECH area in Hall B6 serves as a hub for innovation, featuring collaborations with Agri Sud-Ouest Innovation, VINSEO, and La Wine Tech. Here, visitors can explore the latest technological solutions designed to address current challenges in agriculture.

Tasting masterclasses offer another draw for professionals attending SITEVI. Led by oenologists and producers, these sessions provide hands-on experiences with wines, olive oils, and fruits from diverse regions. More than 20 masterclasses are scheduled over the three days.

Employment and training opportunities are also part of SITEVI’s agenda. In partnership with Jobagri and Vitijob, the event hosts job-matching sessions on November 25 and 26. These meetings connect companies seeking talent with qualified candidates ranging from recent graduates to experienced professionals looking for new opportunities. Students can also find information about training programs offered by organizations such as APECITA and APRODEMA.

Business networking is facilitated through pre-arranged meetings between visitors with projects and exhibitors offering solutions. This program aims to maximize efficiency for both parties and foster new business relationships.

On November 26, an exclusive “Business Angels” evening will take place in Pavilion B5. This event brings together investors, innovative startups, exhibitors, and project leaders from France and abroad. The goal is to accelerate growth for companies specializing in new technologies by creating strategic connections and investment opportunities.

SITEVI continues to serve as a major platform for innovation and exchange within the wine, olive oil, and fruit industries. With its international scope and focus on practical solutions for current challenges, it remains an important meeting point for professionals seeking to shape the future of these sectors.
