French fine-wine merchant SoDivin said Tuesday that it has released a new stock list focused on wines from M. Chapoutier, with bottles covering vintages from 1989 through 2021 and all listed items described by the company as 100% in stock.
The offer was circulated in an email from SoDivin, which is based in Aigues-Vives in southern France. The company said the selection includes more than 30 references from the Rhône producer, with prices listed in euros, excluding VAT, and on an ex-cellar basis. SoDivin also said it can provide high-definition bottle photos online or on request and that orders placed before 2 p.m. can be shipped the same day, with next-day delivery available depending on destination.
The stock list is centered on some of Chapoutier’s best-known Hermitage and Ermitage labels, including L’Ermite, Le Pavillon, Le Méal and De l’Orée. It also includes wines from Saint-Joseph, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côte-Rôtie. Several formats are offered in both standard bottles and magnums, a detail that matters in the secondary market where large formats often draw interest from collectors and restaurants.
Among the newest wines on the list are 2021 releases such as De l’Orée Blanc at €220.00, L’Ermite Ermitage Rouge at €300.00, Le Méal Ermitage Rouge at €190.00 and Le Pavillon Ermitage Rouge at €210.00. The 2021 L’Ermite Blanc is listed at €470.00, while the magnum format is offered at €956.67, the highest posted price in the email. The 2021 L’Ermite Magnum Ermitage Rouge is listed at €612.50.
The merchant is also offering older vintages that reach back more than three decades. These include 2016 Le Pavillon Ermitage Rouge at €350.00, 2011 Le Pavillon at the same price, and a group of 2009 wines led by L’Ermite Blanc at €520.83 and L’Ermite Rouge at €295.83. Other 2009 entries include Le Méal at €265.00 and Les Greffieux at €155.00.
The list contains several low-quantity bottles from the early 2000s. A 2008 L’Ermite Blanc Magnum is listed at €579.17, while a 2008 Le Pavillon Magnum is offered at €295.83. A 2007 L’Ermite Blanc appears at €625.00. For 2003, SoDivin lists L’Ermite Ermitage Rouge at €354.17, L’Ermite Blanc Magnum at €729.17 and Le Pavillon Magnum at €745.83. In a number of these cases, the available quantity is one or two bottles, suggesting a limited supply despite the company’s statement that the full list is in stock.
Mature vintages remain a key part of the selection. The company lists 2001, 2000 and 1999 versions of Le Pavillon Ermitage Rouge between €241.67 and €350.00. From 1994, SoDivin is offering Barbe Rac Châteauneuf-du-Pape at €81.67 and De l’Orée Blanc at €200.00. The stock list also includes 1992 Le Pavillon at €229.17, a 1990 La Bernardine Magnum Châteauneuf-du-Pape at €179.17, a 1990 La Mordorée Côte-Rôtie at €300.00 and a 1989 La Sizeranne Hermitage Rouge at €120.83.
At the lower end of the price range, the least expensive wine shown is the 1994 Barbe Rac Châteauneuf-du-Pape at €81.67, followed closely by the 2004 Barbe Rac at €83.33. At the upper end are the large-format whites and prestige Hermitage bottlings, led by the 2021 L’Ermite Blanc Magnum. This spread shows a catalog aimed at different types of buyers, from those seeking entry points into older Rhône vintages to those looking for rare flagship labels.
SoDivin said the bottles are individually described and illustrated with detailed photos and that it uses specialized packaging for transport. The company presented the release as a ready-to-ship commercial offer rather than an auction or futures sale. The stock list was distributed with direct links to the company’s full Chapoutier inventory, shipping destinations and customer contact channels, including email and WhatsApp.
M. Chapoutier is one of the Rhône Valley’s most recognized wine houses, and the release gives buyers a snapshot of how its wines are being positioned in the current fine-wine trade, particularly for mature Hermitage and related appellations. In this case, the merchant’s message is clear: the bottles are in its cellar now, they are priced for immediate purchase, and the emphasis is on fast fulfillment for a market where provenance, condition and speed of delivery often shape buying decisions.
