WyneLover, a nonprofit organization based in Antwerp, Belgium, has announced the multilingual expansion of its main platform, WyneTaster. Starting July 1, WyneTaster will be available not only in English but also in French, German, Spanish, and Italian. This move aims to make professional wine tasting tools more accessible to users across Europe and Latin America.
WyneTaster is an online tool designed for organizing, participating in, and recording wine tastings. The platform follows the WSET tasting methodology up to Level 3, making it suitable for both wine enthusiasts and professionals. It is already used by several well-known sommelier schools that offer WSET certifications.
Luc Dooms, founder and spokesperson for WyneLover, explained that the goal behind WyneTaster was to support both learning and passion for wine. He said the multilingual launch will help reach more wine lovers and professionals worldwide.
WyneTaster is part of a broader ecosystem of free digital applications developed by WyneLover. Other tools include WyneCellar, which helps users manage their wine collections; WyneMaker, which allows producers to register their wineries and wines in a public database; and the central platform WyneLover.com, which provides access to all these resources.
As a nonprofit initiative, WyneLover is committed to offering high-quality digital tools at no cost. The organization aims to promote wine culture, education, and accessibility. Users can also find tutorials and educational content on WyneLover’s YouTube channel and connect with the community through Instagram and Facebook.
WyneLover’s mission is to create a smarter and more connected world of wine. By providing free digital resources, the organization helps individuals and professionals expand their knowledge, manage their collections, participate in tastings, and share their experiences. The expansion of WyneTaster into multiple languages marks a significant step in making these resources available to a wider audience.
