Syrah du Monde to Celebrate 19th Edition in Ampuis, France

The Syrah du Monde competition will hold its 19th annual event on May 15-16, 2025 in Ampuis, France. The event brings together a selection of wines made with at least 85% Syrah grapes, in accordance with the regulations of each country of origin. It is one of the most important international competitions for this grape, with a call that covers an unprecedented geographical diversity. The next edition is expected to have 450 entries from 26 countries.

A jury of 100 international experts will be in charge of evaluating the wines and awarding the medals, considered a reliable and representative hallmark of quality in the sector. The deadline for submitting samples is April 9, 2025.

The event seeks to promote and give visibility to high-quality Syrah/Shiraz wines worldwide, highlighting the richness and variety offered by this grape in different regions. Syrah du Monde has established itself as a benchmark in the sector, recognizing each year the best exponents of this variety.
