Bushmills unveils exclusive 25 and 31-year-old single malts

BUSHMILLS Irish Whiskey, the world's oldest licensed distillery, has unveiled two of its most exclusive single malt expressions: BUSHMILLS 25-Year-Old and BUSHMILLS 31-Year-Old. These limited-edition releases represent a blend of centuries-old tradition, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to quality, offering a remarkable sensory experience for whiskey enthusiasts.

BUSHMILLS 25-Year-Old is a testament to the distillery's long-standing dedication to excellence in Irish single malt whiskey. Triple distilled from 100% malted barley, this whiskey has been matured for six years in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, followed by an additional 21 years in first-fill ruby port pipes. The result is a rich and complex profile featuring aromas of ripe dark fruits, honey, and toasted wood. On the palate, flavors of caramelized cherries, plums, and blackberries evolve into notes of dark chocolate and sweet spices. Its deep reddish-copper hue and warm, spiced finish make it a standout. With only 3,500 bottles available, this expression is priced at €1,200, reflecting its rarity and craftsmanship.

BUSHMILLS 31-Year-Old stands as a pinnacle of luxury in Irish single malts. This whiskey underwent an initial maturation of 13 years in Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels before being finished for 18 years in Madeira casks. The extended aging imparts a complexity that begins with aromas of dried fruits, cocoa, and black coffee. On the palate, notes of tangerine, peach, and warm honey are complemented by hints of spice and toasted oak. Its creamy texture and prolonged finish create an unparalleled tasting experience. Limited to just 2,800 bottles, this release is priced at €2,390, underlining its exclusivity.
