IWINETC 2025, a leading event for wine and culinary tourism, is scheduled for March 26-27 in Mikulov, Czechia. This historic town in South Moravia will host international wine tourism professionals, industry experts, and thought leaders. The event promises two days of discussions, networking, and experiences. Supported by key figures in the wine and tourism sectors, IWINETC 2025 aims to showcase innovative strategies and market trends to boost wine tourism globally.
The conference will begin with a Welcome Reception at Galerie Závodný. Remarks will be made by Dagmar Fialová from the National Wine Centre, Petra Korlaar, Mikulov's Deputy Mayor, and Vladimíra Brucháčková Závodná from Galerie Závodný. The official opening on March 26 will feature Anthony Swift, IWINETC Director, and Czech wine industry leaders like Martin Chlad and Petr Kubín.
The event will offer insights from experts in wine tourism, branding, and marketing. Day 1 highlights include "Savour the Flavours – Destination Czechia & South Moravia" by Tereza Hofmanová and Martina Grůzová, exploring Czechia's wine tourism potential. Paul Wagner will discuss enhancing wine region branding, while Robin Shaw will talk about wineries evolving into tourism destinations. A guided tasting led by sommelier Klára Kollárová will showcase Czechia’s grape varieties.
Day 2 will feature discussions on innovation in wine tourism. Natalia Burlachenko will present on Wine Travel Awards, and a panel will discuss creating memorable wine tourism experiences. Judith Lewis will explore AI's role in tourism marketing, and Paul Wagner will address common mistakes in wine tourism strategies.
IWINETC 2025 will also include a B2B Wine Tourism Workshop. This will allow attendees to engage in one-on-one business meetings, connecting global travel agents with industry providers for strategic collaborations and business growth.
The event will conclude with a Closing Plenary Session, summarizing key insights and announcing the host for the 2026 conference.
