"Wine Paris Unveils 'The Academy' Program Featuring 130 Events and 250 Industry Experts"

Wine Paris, a major industry event, has unveiled its headline program, The Academy. This program will feature 130 events with 250 experts from the wine industry. The events will run from February 10 to 12 and will cover a wide range of topics. These include emerging markets, changing consumer trends, and explorations of lesser-known wine regions like Uruguay. There will also be a deep dive into traditional spirits from South Korea.

The International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) is among the key industry bodies that will host events as part of The Academy. On February 11, the OIV will hold a conference to discuss re-export hubs, their history, current trends, and their role in the industry.

The Academy will also focus on emerging markets. On February 12, Chinedu Rita Rosa, MD and founder of Vines by Rosa, will lead a session on wines tailored for the African market. Sustainability will also be a key topic, with an event led by Moët Hennessy on February 11. This event will explore policies that encourage agroecological transition and regenerative practices.

In addition to The Academy, Wine Paris will host a headline panel discussion titled 'Let's Talk About Wine!' on February 11. The panel will be chaired by Vinexposium CEO, Rodolphe Lameyse, and will include industry leaders like Miles Beale, Don Saint Pierre, and Nicolas Ozanam.

The sixth edition of Wine Paris is expected to attract 5,300 exhibitors from over 50 countries and 50,000 visitors.
