Best Wine Stars 2025 expands program and features new experiences at Milan’s Palazzo del Ghiaccio

The sixth edition of Best Wine Stars will take place from May 17 to 19, 2025, at the Palazzo del Ghiaccio in Milan, located on Via Piranesi 14. The event has been recognized as a Fiera Nazionale by the Lombardy Region and receives institutional support from the City of Milan. Organizers have announced an expanded program for this edition, introducing new experiences for attendees.

Access to Best Wine Stars requires prior accreditation through a digital platform. Visitors must select their category—either general public or industry professional, including sommeliers. Professionals will receive a free pass after their credentials are verified, while the general public can purchase tickets online. Sommeliers are eligible for a 50% discount on ticket prices, which will be validated at the entrance upon presentation of their credentials.

The online platform allows users to view the full list of exhibitors, check the venue map, and reserve spots in scheduled masterclasses. The event is set to bring together digital creators, international buyers, gastronomic partners, and media representatives. There will also be a dedicated space for selected products.

Best Wine Stars 2025 will feature five thematic areas: Vino Italia, Vino Internazionale, Vino Bio, Spirits Area, and Food Area. The program includes nine masterclasses led by Adua Villa and will host guests such as Mattia Asperti, Alessio Cannata, Chiara Giannotti, Giambattista Marchetto, Francesco Quarna, Valentina Vercelli, Stefania Vinciguerra, and Fabio Bacchi.

A new addition this year is a dedicated area for Japanese sake. Organizers have confirmed that more than 1,200 wine and spirits labels from various countries will be present. Among the highlights are a sake masterclass organized by the Sake Sommelier Association and a seminar on the Chianti Classico Pyramid, which will explore its three main categories: Annata, Riserva, and Gran Selezione. There will also be a special tasting of non-alcoholic wines led by Zeroalcol.

The event will open its doors to the public on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 from noon to 8 p.m., while Monday, May 19 will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During these days, the Palazzo del Ghiaccio will host activities aimed at both professionals and wine and food enthusiasts.

Best Wine Stars aims to bring together key players in the wine and gastronomy sectors in an environment that encourages professional exchange and the discovery of new trends. The event seeks to establish itself as one of the most important gatherings for those interested in innovative products and networking within the international wine and gastronomy community.
