Vinetur company

Cookie policy

Vinetur cookies and third-party technologies, their purposes and duration, and your consent choices.

1. What cookies are and who uses them

Cookies are files a website stores or reads in your browser. Together with technologies such as local storage and certain identifiers or pixels, they can maintain a session, remember a choice or measure visits and advertising.

A cookie may contain an identifier that recognizes a browser and associates activity with it. Even without your name, this information may be personal data. Cookies therefore do not all serve the same purpose or qualify for the same conditions of use.

The site operator is VGSC, S.L., Spanish tax identification number B70255591, with its office and tax address at calle Castelao 17, 1B, 36600 Vilagarcía de Arousa, Pontevedra, Spain. For inquiries: [email protected]. Further identifying details are in the legal notice.

2. Necessary and optional cookies

Cookies strictly necessary to transmit a communication or provide a function you requested, such as maintaining a login session, may be exempt from consent. The exemption depends on their actual purpose, not on being first-party, useful to the business or labeled 'technical'.

Analytics or advertising measurement cookies that do not qualify for an exemption require an informed choice before being set or read. Simply browsing, scrolling or accepting registration terms is not that consent. Rejecting optional uses must not prevent access to public content.

3. Vinetur's own identifiers

  • Vinetur session: uses a system-generated technical name that may vary. It maintains session status and checks needed for access and forms. It is a session cookie, not an advertising measurement cookie.
  • vinetur_device: maintains and recognizes an authenticated login. It lasts up to 30 days and may be renewed during use. It contains a token, not your password. Its purpose is login continuity and security; it must not be repurposed for advertising tracking.
  • vinetur_consent: Signed preferences with separate deadlines for each purpose: acceptance up to 24 months; refusal 180 days. Not a visitor identifier for advertising.
  • vinetur_ad_uid: Our own advertising reach identifier, only with permission; up to 180 days.

These periods describe cookie expiry, not how long every record associated with an account or campaign is retained. Processing of that information is explained in the privacy policy.

4. Third-party services

Google Analytics. Normal web pages use advanced Consent Mode: the tag loads with storage denied and may send Google signals about pages viewed, the device and the connection, even before you choose or after you reject. It does not read or write Analytics cookies in that state. This involves communication with Google and does not mean no data is processed; the connection includes your IP address. Only accepting analytics cookies enables _ga and _ga_*, configured for at most 180 days without renewal on every visit. Withdrawing permission denies storage again and removes Analytics cookies accessible on our domain; signals without those cookies may continue. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalisation, or send Analytics query parameters or fragments from page and referrer URLs. In AMP, measurement remains blocked until analytics is accepted. You can change your choice in cookie settings. This configuration applies from 14 September 2026. Vinetur first-party audience measurement. We estimate activity without tracking cookies, temporarily processing IP, browser family and device. This component does not retain raw IP addresses or user agents, URLs or individual profiles. The vinetur_audience cookie is used only with analytics consent; it expires at month-end and is removed when permission is withdrawn. Aggregates are retained for up to 26 months. This first-party measurement does not send data to Google or other analytics services.

Google reCAPTCHA. Certain forms use this service to limit automated submissions and abuse. It communicates with Google and may involve browser information, a verification token and the IP address. A security purpose does not automatically exempt every additional processing activity the provider may perform.

Cloudflare. Vinetur uses this provider's content delivery and web traffic protection services. Depending on enabled functions, security-check identifiers may be involved. Their necessity and duration depend on each function; these checks must not be confused with general tracking permission.

External content. When a page embeds a player, social media post or other external content, its provider may receive browser information and use its own technologies. A simple link to another website is different from loading an element from it within Vinetur. Loading elements that involve nonessential tracking requires applicable safeguards and, where necessary, consent.

You can read Google's explanation of cookies, its privacy policy and Analytics information about data. Depending on the provider and configuration, these services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Linking to a policy does not replace the duty to establish and explain applicable safeguards, or mean that a user accepts an international transfer.

5. Managing these technologies

The Cookie settings panel, also accessible from the footer, lets you accept all, reject all or customize Google analytics and Vinetur advertising measurement separately. Options are not preselected. Closing the panel, continuing to browse or registering does not activate new measurement.

You can withdraw either permission from the same panel. Your choice is stored in this browser, not your account or newsletter subscription. You do not need to log out or delete all cookies. On AMP, the link opens the regular page to manage these preferences. Withdrawal prevents further uses authorized by that choice; it does not automatically erase previously processed information or change other technical cookies.

You can review and delete cookies in your browser's privacy settings, block third-party cookies or set site-specific rules. Deleting cookies may log you out or require you to enter login details again. It does not itself erase information already processed on servers.

Private browsing usually limits local retention when a session ends, but does not necessarily prevent server communications or amount to rejecting measurement while browsing. Browser settings are an additional tool, not a replacement for Vinetur's duty to obtain prior consent for nonessential uses and make withdrawal possible.

6. Email measurement

The newsletter may contain links and images that record opens or clicks. If those records are linked to a recipient, using a code does not make them anonymous statistics. Consent to receive the newsletter does not automatically authorize all tracking. See the newsletter section of our privacy policy.

7. Rights and policy updates

You can exercise data protection rights through [email protected], as explained in the privacy policy, and complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

This information must be updated when services, identifiers or purposes change. The rules may apply to providers outside the European Union; a server's location does not, on its own, create an exemption.

Cookies

We use cookies and other technologies to keep the site working, understand its use and offer external content. You can accept, reject or configure optional cookies.
