Premium passengers to enjoy renowned French Champagne in select lounges and on international flights as airline marks historic milestone

American Airlines has announced a new partnership with Champagne Bollinger as part of its preparations for its 100th anniversary. The airline revealed the collaboration yesterday, stating that it will serve Bollinger’s Special Cuvée in select airport lounges and on board international flights. The move is intended to enhance the travel experience for premium passengers and highlight the company’s historic milestone.

Bollinger, a family-owned Champagne house established in 1829, is known for its traditional winemaking methods and reputation for quality. American Airlines will begin offering Bollinger as a welcome drink in its Flagship® lounges at Dallas Fort Worth, Miami, and Chicago O’Hare airports. The service will expand to Los Angeles and Philadelphia lounges in the coming weeks.

Starting next month, passengers flying in Flagship® First and Flagship® Business classes on routes to and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle will be able to enjoy Bollinger Champagne on board. The airline plans to gradually extend this offering to all international routes served by these premium cabins.

The partnership with Bollinger is one of several initiatives American Airlines is rolling out as it approaches its centennial. With 100 days remaining until the anniversary date of April 15, 2026, the airline has also introduced a new centennial logo featuring an infinity symbol. According to the company, this design represents a commitment to caring for travelers well into the future.

A celebratory video was also released as part of the announcement, highlighting American Airlines’ history and its vision for the next century. The airline stated that these efforts are meant to honor its legacy while providing customers with elevated experiences both on the ground and in the air.

American Airlines was founded in 1926 and has grown into one of the world’s largest carriers. As it prepares for its 100th year, the company is focusing on combining luxury touches with its longstanding heritage. The introduction of Bollinger Champagne is positioned as a symbol of this approach, aiming to set a new standard for premium travel as the anniversary approaches.
