Wine lovers can sample selections from France, Italy, Spain, and North Africa while enjoying discounted entry and direct purchases

Wine enthusiasts in Belgium are preparing for the 14th edition of the Foire du Vin, an annual wine fair set to take place from February 6 to 8, 2026, in Leuven. The event will be held at the OHL VIP reception areas on Kardinaal Mercierlaan, a location known for its spacious setting and ample free parking.

This year’s fair will feature around 25 wine producers and exhibitors from several countries. Attendees can expect to meet winemakers from France, Italy, Spain, and other regions. The organizers have also announced the participation of Flemish winemakers working abroad, as well as Italian producers from regions such as Piedmont and Tuscany. A specialized importer of Burgundy wines will be present, along with exhibitors offering Bordeaux selections and a range of wines from North African countries. Champagne producers who have participated in previous editions will return this year.

The format of the event is straightforward. Upon entry, visitors receive a tasting glass included in the admission price. They can then visit the various stands, sample wines that interest them, and purchase bottles to take home directly from the exhibitors, who are prepared with sufficient stock.

The Foire du Vin aims to provide an opportunity for guests to taste, discover, and enjoy a wide variety of wines in a relaxed atmosphere. The event opens on Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., continues on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and concludes on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A special offer is available for those presenting the official invitation email at the entrance—either printed or displayed on a screen—which reduces the admission fee to €3 instead of the standard €6. The tasting glass remains included in this price.

More information about the event and participating wineries can be found on the official website at www.foireduvin.be. Organizers encourage wine lovers to mark their calendars and take advantage of this opportunity to explore new wines and meet producers in person.
